Society for Family Health (SFH) Dominican Republic, a member of the PSI network, was established as a local nonprofit organization in 2014. Since its founding, SFH has implemented interventions across sexual and reproductive health, water, sanitation and hygiene, gender-based violence prevention, diabetes prevention, and more, all while building the capacity of civil society organizations.

Guatemala is home to PSI’s Latin America regional office, which provides programmatic support to all PSI members and offices across Latin America and the Caribbean. PSI Guatemala also has its local programmatic team that implements country donor financed projects, and PASMO Guatemala--a social business unit commercializing several contraception methods.

Founded in 1998, PASMO Nicaragua began activities as part of a regional HIV prevention program. Their scope expanded to other health areas such as reproductive health, post-abortion care, and Zika prevention.

In 2019, PSI opened a separate entity, PSI Nicaragua, which operates alongside PASMO to address post-abortion care and long-acting reversible contraceptives.

PSI Mozambique launched in 1995. In partnership with the Government of Mozambique, international donors, and other private foundations, PSI Mozambique implements social marketing and behavior change campaigns aimed at delivering reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, malaria, WASH, and cervical cancer services.

Launched in 2002, PSI Nepal works alongside the Government of Nepal, the private sector and local and international organizations to deliver health solutions at scale. Currently, PSI Nepal’s portfolio includes sexual and reproductive health, maternal and newborn health and hygiene and sanitation programs.

PSI Myanmar was founded in 1995 to focus on HIV prevention and quickly expanded. In 2001, malaria prevention products were added to its portfolio, which has now grown to include pneumonia, diarrhea and malaria treatment. PSI Myanmar runs various initiatives, including pilots for social health insurance delivery at PSI Myanmar’s Sun Quality Health clinics.

PSI South Africa began as a condom business in 2012 and quickly expanded to additional health areas. A social enterprise, PSI South Africa’s geographic reach includes Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

PSI also operates through an affiliate, PSI South Africa Health Solutions, which co-creates a consumer-centered health ecosystem for quality primary healthcare.

Since 1996, PSI Zimbabwe has supported the Ministry of Health and Child Care to address the most serious health problems. With an initial focus on HIV prevention through the social marketing of condoms, PSI Zimbabwe’s programs have expanded to include critical products and services across the HIV continuum of care, as well as sexual and reproductive health.

Since 1995, PSI has worked in Haiti through its local marketing organization, Organisation Haïtienne de Marketing Social pour la Santé (OHMaSS), to bring care closer to the consumer. OHMaSS’s approaches range from free health product distribution to private sector support through the provision of essential health products and services.

PSI's presence in Honduras is through the Pan American Social Marketing Organization (PASMO). Since 2000, PASMO has worked to reduce the incidence of sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS through social marketing. PASMO Honduras is also a leading organization in the implementation of sexual and reproductive health programs for vulnerable and at-risk girls and adolescents.
