Ana is a Founding Member of Maverick Collective, an initiative led by Population Services International and co-chaired by Her Royal Highness Mette- Marit and Melinda Gates to transform the lives of girls and women and lift them out of poverty.

Through Maverick Collective, she is piloting a program to break the cycle of poverty for teen mothers and fathers in El Salvador through youth-friendly reproductive health services. She hopes to leverage her project into additional opportunities for the region, using her native Spanish to inspire further philanthropic initiatives tied to her Mexican heritage.
