Disrupting Philanthropy: Engaging Men and Boys 2.8.2023

Gender Equity ·

To achieve gender equity, philanthropy and the global health sector must move from subverting the power of men and boys to shifting it entirely. For decades, we have neglected the foundational work required with men and boys as key influencers and power holders.

This provocative conversation explores how we can better serve women and girls by engaging men and boys through philanthropic funding. Moderated by Rena Greifinger, Managing Director of Maverick Collective, this session sparks new ideas and explores the discomfort and impact of funding through a gender lens.

A conversation with Maverick Collective member Suzanne Lerner, Co-Founder & CEO of Michale Stars, and Tahir Duckett, Founder & Director of ReThink, and Executive Director of the Center for Innovations in Community Safety at Georgetown Law. Moderated by Rena Greifinger, Managing Director of Maverick Collective by PSI.
